Multimodality Technologist (CT/X-Ray)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Rotating shifts: 3 x 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Multimodality Technologist performs quality imaging and provides exceptional patient care within the CT and X-Ray modalities. The technologist is responsible for explaining procedures to patients, ensuring their understanding and competence, and producing images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-Ray imaging procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and verify their competence regarding the process.
• Ensure high-quality imaging for interpretation.
• Work within scope to float to like units as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years experience in CT and X-Ray.
• Must hold ARRT certifications in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (C).
• South Carolina Radiologic Technologist License (pending accepted).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (can be pending upon hire).
• Experience with Siemens equipment and EPIC charting system preferred.
