Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

• Perform emergency department triage and prioritize patient care
• Provide emergent life-saving interventions with ACLS and PALS protocols
• Care for patients of all ages with varying degrees of illness or trauma
• Utilize equipment such as Cerner, cardiac monitors, and basic life-saving tools

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an ER setting
• Current Indiana or compact RN license
• BLS (AHA only), ACLS (AHA only), PALS, ENPC, and TNCC required
