Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant

A locum tenens position is available for a Physician Assistant in the Emergency Room at a busy healthcare facility. This role allows you to deliver high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. With a consistent daytime shift schedule, this position offers the advantage of predictable work hours.

Job Responsibilities - Provide comprehensive care to patients in the emergency room.- Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions.- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.- Utilize electronic medical records to document patient progress and treatment plans promptly.
Qualifications - Valid physician assistant license in the state of Vermont- Certification in ER specialization preferred- Current BLS and ACLS certifications- Previous experience in emergency medicine is highly desirable
Working Hours - Typically day shifts, exact schedule to be confirmed
Skills - Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment- Proficient in using electronic medical records systems
