CERTIFIED POLICE OFFICER

The Nashua Police Department is seeking Certified Police Officers as applicants for the position of Police Officer. Applicants who are currently certified police officers within the Continental United States that are in good standing do NOT need to take an entry level test with the Nashua Police Department. The Nashua Police Department can transfer certification from another state within the Continental United States to New Hampshire with approval from New Hampshire Police Standards and Training. Certified Officers will carry over their years of service to go towards their salary and annual time off. Certified officers from another state will have to taken an entry physical test and law package examination through New Hampshire Police Standards and Training. The Nashua Police Department also has the ability to reimburse certified officers who have to purchase out a contract with their existing agency. Certified Officers can apply at any time and begin the hiring process. The Nashua Police Department is a nationally accredited agency through CALEA with many opportunities for career growth. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Certified as a Law Enforcement Officer within the Continental United States 20 Years Old to Apply – 21 Years Old at Date of Hire Residency within the Continental United States #J-18808-Ljbffr
