Direct Support Professional II - EBSH Children's Group Home Location: Inglewood, CA. Pay: $23 - $24.50 per hour (based on certification). Shifts: AM/PM. Status: Full Time & Part Time. The role also involves redirecting behaviors with various activities such as walking, reading, games, math, and computer projects. Essential Functions Outline and prepare daily routines for clients as written in each Individual Program Plan Assist clients with bathroom and personal care needs Change clients’ undergarments and/or clothing as needed Prepare daily meals and assist with clean‑up Pickup and drop‑off clients in company vans from/to their home or facility (if necessary) Education and Experience Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid, CPI, and must have DSP 1 & DSP 2 certificates RBT certification must be completed within 12 months of hire (training provided) Minimum 1 year of professional or personal experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities (e.g., autism) or mental illness (e.g., bipolar) with challenging behaviors strongly preferred Valid in-state driver’s license, over 21, current registration and insurance, and driving record with no more than 3 points in the last 3 years Physical Requirements Must be able to lift 30 lbs. Able to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions All candidates must successfully pass pre-employment requirements, including a background check, physical exam, five-panel drug screen, and TB test.
