Position Summary: The Meat/Seafood Clerk supports the department by preparing, packaging, and displaying fresh meat and/or seafood products in accordance with food safety and quality standards. This role assists customers with product selection, provides knowledgeable recommendations, and ensures a clean, organized, and well-stocked department. The Meat/Seafood Clerk helps maintain freshness, follows sanitation guidelines, and delivers excellent service to create a positive shopping experience. This role can be assigned in either the meat or seafood department as business needs arise.

What You Will Do

Customer Service - Assist shoppers with meat or seafood selections, answer product questions, and provide friendly service.

Product Handling - Prepare, package, weigh, and label meat and seafood items while ensuring freshness and quality.

Sanitation & Stocking - Maintain clean cases and work areas, rotate stock, and follow all food safety and sanitation standards.

What You Will Bring

High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred

Oral and written communication skills

Commitment to providing excellent customer service

Attention to detail

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Must meet minimum age requirements in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.

Flexibility to work a retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Salary range is between $15.00 - $18.00 Hrly
