Managing Director of Audit Solutions

About the Role: We are seeking a world‑class audit professional with 15-20 years of public company auditing experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in auditing standards and SOX Sections 302 and 404. In this role, you will leverage your technical knowledge to contribute to building our leading‑edge end‑to‑end finance technology solutions, working closely with our Technology team in the process. Further, you will help build and lead a team to accomplish the above.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply your technical expertise in auditing and accounting standards in designing and developing leading‑edge technology to be deployed in clients’ audit processes
• Engage with clients and collaborate with our Technology team to identify areas where technology can enhance quality of audit procedures
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert in auditing standards, providing guidance and insights to ensure that our technological solutions to achieve regulatory requirements
• Conduct testing and validation of the technology, ensuring it meets the highest standards of accuracy, reliability, and repeatability
• Stay current with auditing standards, industry trends, and technological advancements to continuously improve the organization’s capabilities
• Build and lead a team of professionals to engage with clients in order to build end‑to‑end technological solutions

Qualifications:

• BS (or above) in Accounting is required
• CPA certification is required
• 15-20 years of professional experience in auditing public companies
• High technical expertise in auditing standards—both AICPA and PCAOB standards
• Experience with accounting topics in a given industry
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a proclivity for the use of innovative technology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and teams, including audit and accounting SMEs and technology developers
• A team player who enjoys working with others and thrives in a collaborative environment
• Self‑starter with a proactive and adaptive approach to work, capable of thriving in a dynamic and fast‑paced setting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in one of the Big Four firms’ “national offices” or national quality organizations
