Reporting to the Director of the SDO Laboratory, this role supports scientific activities related to the highly impactful customer facing genome mapping service laboratory.Responsibilities:Presales PoCPerform experiments as instructed by the SDO Laboratory Director for presales projectsPrepare proper documentation and data summariesPresent findings at conferences from work performed at SDO LaboratorySupport CollaborationsTest new protocols and products and deliver resultsGenerate data to accomplish the goals of projects assigned to the SDO LaboratoryProvide feedback on your experience using the EGM platform, including new protocols, to the Nabsys R&D teamCompliance at SDO LaboratoryComplete all necessary training required to work at the SDO LaboratoryProvide EGM training to new employees and collaborators assigned to work at the SDO LaboratoryEscalate compliance issues to the Director of SDO LaboratoryRequirements: BS or MS in Molecular Biology, Human Genetics, or a related field5+ years of hands-on wet lab experienceDetail oriented with excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skillsStrong time management and organizational abilitiesExperience working in BSL-2 environments is requiredHands-on experience in mammalian cell/tissue culture and human specimen handling, xhyhwjd including liquid and solid biopsy samplesExpertise in nucleic acid extraction and sequencing library preparation, high molecular weight DNA isolation experience is requiredKnowledge of genomic mapping and sequencing technologiesPrior clinical lab and customer support experience is advantageousProven ability to design experiments is preferredFull-time onsite at the SDO Laboratory with occasional trips to Providence, RI, customer sites, and conferencesCompensation:Competitive salary and bonus structureEquity stakeBenefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k) plan with 50% match up to 6% of base salary, unlimited vacation, life insurance
