Production Associate (1st Shift)
Location: Greeneville, TN
Schedule: Monday Friday, 6:00 AM 2:30 PM
Position Type: Temporary-to-Hire
Looking for a great first-shift schedule with weekends free? We are hiring Production Associates for a fast-paced manufacturing facility in Greeneville, TN. This temp-to-hire opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, take pride in quality craftsmanship, and work well in a team environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Assemble walk-in cooler and freezer components according to work instructions and specifications.
- Use basic hand tools and measuring devices to complete assembly tasks.
- Read and accurately use a tape measure to ensure proper fit and quality.
- Install hardware, insulation, panels, and other components during the assembly process.
- Inspect finished assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Follow production schedules while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work in multiple production areas and cross-train on various assembly stations.
- Assist with moving materials and completed products throughout the production process.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Perform other assembly and production duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools is required.
- Must be able to accurately read and use a tape measure.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Willingness to be cross-trained in multiple production areas.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Dependable attendance and a positive work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining quality standards.
