Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition: Machine Technician Location:New Berlin, WI Compensation:Based on Experience Essential Duties & Responsibilities: This description is not intended to include all duties or responsibilities and may be modified as business needs evolve. Promote and maintain a Safety First culture by adhering to OSHA standards and company safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), GMP, Arc Flash protocols, proper PPE usage, and housekeeping practices.Perform preventative maintenance activities on plastic blow molding machines and associated manufacturing equipment.Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production equipment including molding machines, auxiliary equipment, robotics, and supporting systems.Apply knowledge of mechanical, electrical, PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to maintain equipment performance and reliability.Analyze equipment failures and determine corrective actions using blueprints, schematics, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.Assemble, install, maintain, and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, plumbing, and piping systems.Install and repair electrical equipment and automated systems, including transformers and robotic components.Coordinate with outside vendors to procure replacement parts, supplies, and maintenance support as needed.Complete scheduled weekly, monthly, and annual preventative maintenance assignments.Identify and repair compressed air leaks and utility-related equipment issues.Support Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) inspections and compliance initiatives.Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas at all times.Ensure compliance with GMP, Food Safety, and Food Quality requirements established by the company, customers, and regulatory agencies.Partner with operations and maintenance teams to support projects, continuous improvement efforts, and department priorities.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required.Minimum of five (5) years of manufacturing maintenance experience and/or related technical training required.Must be at least 18 years of age.Strong mechanical aptitude with demonstrated experience in electrical controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial troubleshooting.Ability to work independently and manage workload with minimal supervision.Effective communication skills with the ability to document equipment issues and communicate maintenance activities across shifts. #wideeffect \nCompany DescriptionCall us direct today at 1-833-4WE-JOBS or View phone number on click.appcast.io.Company DescriptionCall us direct today at 1-833-4WE-JOBS or View phone number on click.appcast.io.
