Position Overview At PNC, we consider our people our greatest asset. As a Teller in the Retail Banking organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA at the Squirrel Hill branch. The role focuses on delivering a unique customer experience, improving financial wellbeing, and building loyalty. Responsibilities Deliver a unique customer experience aimed at improving customer financial wellbeing and creating loyalty while increasing share of wallet. Process a variety of customer interactions and educate customers on available alternatives for their financial interactions. Identify banking opportunities during customer interactions, making appropriate referrals to branch staff. Perform lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs. Educate customers on options for managing financial transactions by leveraging technology, tools and resources. Apply product and procedural knowledge to solve customer’s problems. Adhere to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits. Ensure teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions are completed efficiently and accurately. Qualifications Knowledgeability with customer-focused values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in business decisions. Ability to assess and effectively manage all risks associated with business objectives and activities, ensuring adherence to PNC’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework. Demonstrated accuracy, attention to detail, and effective communication skills. Experience or ability to identify opportunities, leverage technology, and engage in proactive sales. Prior experience in a banking or customer-facing role is not required; however, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
