Our organization is seeking candidates for a full-time position as an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in Hepatology within the Department of Medicine's Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition. This role may be offered on a Tenure or Non-Tenure track, with rank and tenure status reflecting the applicant's qualifications.

The preferred candidate will hold board certification or be board eligible in Gastroenterology. Responsibilities will encompass weekly outpatient clinics, performing endoscopic procedures, and providing support for the GI and/or Hepatology inpatient and consult services at our affiliated hospitals. Our Gastroenterology division serves as a regional referral hub for conditions such as pancreatic diseases, gastrointestinal cancers, complex liver disorders, liver transplantation, obesity, gut microbiome research, innovative technology development, and motility issues, featuring a cutting-edge GI motility lab and a leading program for gastroparesis. There are numerous opportunities for collaborative research and clinical trials in these fields. The fellowship program accommodates 13 fellows annually, and involvement in the education of residents and medical students is also anticipated. Academic rank will be determined based on experience.

For candidates interested, a joint faculty position at the local VA Medical Center may be available.

Minimum Requirements

• Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology.
