Emergency Department Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Location: Spruce Pine, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to assess, stabilize, and care for patients in a high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality emergency care to patients of diverse backgrounds and medical conditions.
• Perform advanced assessments and interventions, including bedside cardioversion and procedural sedation.
• Assist with intubation and other emergency procedures as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and mid-level providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina.
• ED experience is required; ICU experience is preferred.
• Certifications needed: ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NIH. TNCC and ENPC preferred.
• Strong assessment skills and advanced competencies in trauma and cardiac care.
