Education Law Associate Attorney | Atlanta, GA

A growing regional firm is seeking an Education Law Associate Attorney to join its highly regarded practice in Atlanta. This opportunity is ideal for an ambitious litigation associate seeking a unique combination of counseling and litigation, with meaningful opportunities to utilize advocacy skills while working with a passionate team on matters directly impacting educational institutions and the students they serve. The practice involves a range of complex education law matters such as advising on applicable regulatory frameworks, defending Office for Civil Rights and Department of Education investigations, handling special education due process proceedings, and representing clients in contested education matters. Ideal candidates will have: 2+ years of litigation experience with large law firm or sophisticated boutique training Education law experience is strongly preferred, but candidates with employment and/or insurance defense litigation experience and a genuine interest in education law will be considered Georgia licensure or eligibility to obtain Georgia licensure.
