About the Role:
The Security Flex Patrol Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for both personnel and property. This position involves conducting regular foot and vehicle patrols to monitor and assess the security of designated areas, ensuring that any potential threats are identified and addressed promptly. The officer will also be responsible for responding to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, providing immediate assistance as needed. Effective communication and collaboration with local law enforcement and emergency services are essential to ensure a coordinated response to any security issues. Ultimately, the Security Officer contributes to the overall safety and peace of mind of the community they serve. Additionally, as a flex officer you would be on call and would need to be able to pick up shifts when needed. .
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in security or law enforcement.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification.
- Familiarity with security technology and surveillance systems.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular foot patrol of assigned areas to deter and detect security breaches.
- Respond to alarms or incidents as they occur.
- Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
Skills:
Actively monitoring the assigned areas to ensure safety. This skill allows the officer to identify potential security threats and respond effectively, which is critical in maintaining a secure environment. Additionally, strong communication skills are necessary for reporting incidents and collaborating with law enforcement, enhancing the overall security response. Problem-solving skills are also vital, as the officer must assess situations quickly and determine the best course of action. Finally, attention to detail is crucial in documenting incidents accurately and ensuring that all safety protocols are followed.
