CHARGE NURSE - COMFORT CARE NURSING CENTER

Registered Nurse (RN) – Charge NurseProvides high-quality nursing care; supervises/coordinates LPNs and CNAs; ensures regulatory compliance and safe operations.• Current RN license; strong communication/documentation skills.• Leadership/preceptor experience preferred.• BLS or ACLS certification.• Coordinate unit workflow; rounds and oversight.• Perform/oversee assessments and documentation.• Staff education and consultation; medication safety.• Risk prevention; communicate with residents/families.• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.• Frequent bending, reaching, squatting, and kneeling.• Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs independently; >50 lbs with assistance/devices.• Assist with patient repositioning and transfers using proper body mechanics and equipment.• Manual dexterity for clinical procedures and computer use; adequate vision, hearing, and speech.All candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of this position.
