The nurse will be responsible for patient care on a telemetry unit. There is a focus on a broad mix of acute and telemetry patients. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics with various diagnoses. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and other allied health professionals. The nurse will float to other units as needed but is primarily assigned to telemetry. A high level of teamwork and collaboration is expected within the unit. The ideal candidate will demonstrate critical thinking skills and effective communication. Candidates should be prepared for a fast-paced environment caring for patients with complex needs.
