About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required Trauma experience required in an adult trauma/surgical unit at a Level 1 facility Must have experience with ortho injuries, spinal injuries, massive wound care, traumatic brain injuries License: Compact or State License required Certifications: BLS ACLS NIHSS Must-Have: Experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility Progressive Care experience Description: This position requires significant experience in trauma and surgical nursing. Candidates must have worked in an adult trauma/surgical unit. Progressive care experience is a requirement. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are mandatory. The role demands familiarity with orthopedics, spinal injuries, wound care, and traumatic brain injuries. Candidates should be prepared for unique challenges associated with this specialty. Flexible scheduling and the possibility to float within the hospital are part of the role. All applicants must adhere to compliance requirements regarding licensure and certifications.
