Warehouse Associate/Driver

General Purpose:

Responsible for gathering tooling requests, putting away returned tooling orders, and managing tooling for the shop to support projects for McCarl's. Delivers tooling orders and picks up return orders from the shop and field.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform daily tool activities for the entire company in support of projects
• Gather and pick tooling request orders as prioritized by Warehouse Manager
• Put away tooling returned from job sites in a timely manner; clean and inspect returned tools for damage and / or repair – remove tools from service as needed
• Responsible for Truck loading and unloading
• Help facilitate maintenance programs for equipment and tooling.
• Delivery of tools & equipment to job sites as directed
• Pick up / return tooling & equipment from job sites to shop
• Organize and clean up the shop and facilities on an ongoing basis

Qualifications:

• High School degree / GED required
• 1-2 years warehouse experience or equivalent
• 1 year minimum CDL driving experience OR required to get CDL within first 6 months of hire
• Forklift experience preferred
• Knowledge of tooling, consumables and equipment associated with mechanical contracting – Experience with maintenance and / or calibration of tooling is a plus
• Mechanically inclined.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Good communication skills with willingness to have priorities changed at any time
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft office suite; experience with ERP software systems is a plus
• Must be able to pass a background and drug screening
