Litigation Legal Assistant/Paralegal Opportunity

We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a Litigation Legal Assistant/Paralegal opportunity with a well-established South Florida Law Firm for their Boca Raton, FL office. The position will work with the Litigation team and support an Attorney with business transactional cases.

The Litigation Legal Assistant/Paralegal is responsible for below specific duties. Your specific duties will include:

• Assist Attorney with all phases of litigation from case inception through trial.
• Prepare and finalize pleadings in accordance with applicable State and Federal rules for filing with the court.
• Manage the attorney's schedule and calendar for all meetings/deadlines.
• Assist with document retrieval, review, organization, and production.
• Maintain case pleadings, correspondence, and discovery.
• Prepare various legal documents.
• Maintain and use document, transcript, and work product databases.
• Organize and prepare exhibit lists and/or privilege logs.
• Coordinate work with outside document/litigation vendors, including adherence to strict deadlines.
• Coordinate and assist with trial preparations, i.e., exhibits, witness binders, and demonstratives.

Required qualifications for the position include:

• 7+ years of litigation experience.
• Strong knowledge of Litigation, state and federal court filings.
• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

Preferred qualifications for the position include:

• Experience with PerfectLaw software

Salary Range: $75000 - $85000 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and location.
