Shipping Clerk

Job Title

Responsible for preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments. Works closely with planning to ensure adequate levels of packaging materials are always available. Maintain relationships by communicating and enforcing efficient and high standards including on-time delivery and quality. Escalate issues appropriately. Support the overall manufacturing process by aiding in the production plan. Create and support material management process for R&D projects. Coordinate with inventory team, management, and stockroom as required. Develop dashboards to summarize and communicate the status of above priorities to leadership.

Requirements

High school education with 8 years warehouse experience or college degree with 3 years experience. Knowledgeable in shipping regulations for both on shore and international standards. Familiarity working with a middle market or large scale ERP system(s): NetSuite a plus. Experienced user of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word and able to lean other software products quickly. Great organization skills and the ability to balance multiple demands for your time. Good written and verbal communication skills: bi-lingual Spanish and/or Chinese a plus. Effective critical thinking and negotiation skills.
