Christiana Hospital – Newark, DE

• Location: Wilmington, Delaware
• Department: Emergency Nursing – Emergency Department
• Assignment Type: Travel / Local
• Local Radius: Candidates within 50 miles
• Contract Length: 13–25 weeks
• Start Date: October 27, 2026
• Shift: 12-Hour Evenings
• Shift Time: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
• Hours: 36 hours/week
• Scheduling: No block scheduling
• Call: No call required
• Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Yes
• RTO: Maximum 3 days
• RTO Blackout: September 8 – October 31

Required Qualifications

• DE RN License or Compact RN License: Must be active and in hand
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience required — no exceptions
• Epic Experience: Recent Epic experience required
• License Information: RN license number and expiration date required
• Certifications: List all certifications with expiration dates
• RTO: All requested RTO must be submitted with the initial submission; additional RTO requests after submission will not be considered or approved
• Interview Process: Auto Offer – ER List A

• Patient Population: Infant, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric
• Beds: 21–30
• Typical Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Patient Population: Emergency patients who self-present, along with limited EMS presentations
• Charting System: Epic
• Scrub Color: Blue/Navy
• Float: No floating outside of the Emergency Department
• Staff may be asked to provide additional time in CED or WED
