Apparel Graphic Artist
We are seeking a talented Apparel Graphic Artist to join our creative team. This role is ideal for a mid-level to senior artist with strong apparel graphics experience, a sharp eye for trend, and the ability to create commercially relevant designs for today's market.
The ideal candidate understands the apparel industry, can develop strong graphic concepts from both detailed direction and inspiration board overview, and is comfortable working across multiple categories, including tees, fleece, bottoms, and lifestyle-driven product. Experience designing streetwear-inspired apparel graphics is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- Create original apparel graphics for t-shirts, fleece, and other product categories.
- Develop trend-right concepts, layouts, typography, logos, and graphic treatments.
- Interpret creative direction and turn it into commercially viable artwork.
- Research current and emerging trends in fashion, streetwear, graphics, typography, color, and retail.
- Prepare production-ready artwork files with strong attention to detail.
- Manage multiple projects at once while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Revise and adapt artwork based on internal feedback, buyer direction, and market needs.
Qualifications
- Mid-level to senior-level apparel graphic design experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Art.
- Strong portfolio showcasing apparel graphics, typography, logo work, and strong composition skills.
- Experience designing for fashion, lifestyle, streetwear, or mass-market apparel.
- Strong understanding of current graphic trends, retail trends, and consumer taste.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Ability to create clean, production-ready artwork.
- Highly organized, deadline-driven, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Experience with screen print, embellishment, washes, appliqué, embroidery, or specialty techniques is a plus.
- Experience designing streetwear apparel graphics is a plus.
Ideal Candidate
You are creative, trend-aware, and commercially minded. You understand what makes a graphic feel current, wearable, and sellable. You can move quickly from concept to finished artwork while maintaining quality and originality. You are equally comfortable taking direction, developing new ideas, and refining designs based on feedback.
