Travel Respiratory Therapist New York 12-Hour Night Shifts Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join a fully functional 24/7 in-house Respiratory Therapy department. This role supports a diverse patient population across a 6-bed ICU, Emergency Department, Medical/Surgical units, Pediatrics, and low-volume newborn stabilization. Requirements Minimum 1 year of recent experience Local candidates not accepted; permanent residence must be more than 50 miles from the facility New York State license must be active and in hand prior to submission BLS ACLS CRT NRP Strong adult critical-care and ED experience Required Clinical Skills Nasal and oral airway placement Nasal and oral suctioning Tracheostomy care and suctioning Pulmonary hygiene Sputum specimen collection Mechanical ventilation management and weaning BiPAP and CPAP HFNC ABG interpretation Aerosol therapy and medication administration Invasive and noninvasive ventilator management Patient Population Primarily adult patients ICU and Emergency Department Medical/Surgical patients Pediatric patients Low-volume newborn stabilization prior to transport May occasionally perform EKGs after hours to support Cardiology Preferred ventilator experience: Servo I LTV Hamilton T1 Compensation: $2,056 weekly! #J-18808-Ljbffr
