The Company operates 71 manufacturing and automation facilities across 20 countries and serves customers in over 160 countries.Location: MacombJob ResponsibilitiesCreate inspection programs for coordinate measuring machines, devices that measures objects' physical characteristics such as dimensions and other geometrical qualities. Duties and responsibilities include:Write or edit programs for precision machinery.Determine program requirements based on design and engineering requirements.Operate precision machinery as needed.Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.Additional job duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED. Previous experience is a plus.Physical DemandsThe employee frequently is required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is required frequently to work from ladders and scaffolds. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to risk of electrical shock.
