Pallet Company Supervisor – Bilingual

Shift Options

We offer two attractive scheduling options to support work-life balance:

• 1st Shift: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (8-hour shifts)
• 2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday | 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM (10-hour shifts – 3-day weekends!)

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Pallet Company Supervisor to lead daily operations and drive performance during assigned shifts. This role is critical in ensuring productivity, safety, and quality standards are consistently met while supporting a fast-paced warehouse environment. Must be Bilingual to be considered. 

The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives on the floor, can motivate a team, and is comfortable stepping in wherever needed to keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise employees during assigned shifts to ensure operational success
• Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Monitor productivity, workflow, and operational performance
• Coordinate pallet loading, unloading, and yard movement activities
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and drivers
• Operate sit-down forklift as needed to support operations
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and operational tracking
• Utilize Yard Management System (YMS) for client operations
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues quickly and efficiently
• Train, coach, and support team members to maintain high performance

What a Typical Day Looks Like

• Start each shift with a team huddle , setting clear goals and expectations
• Conduct yard checks and monitor trailer inventory (via YMS or manual logs)
• Communicate with pallet partners regarding trailer swaps and needs
• Perform equipment inspections (including grinder/rotochopper) to ensure safe operation
• Oversee loading and unloading activities, ensuring proper documentation is completed
• Walk the floor regularly to maintain organization, workflow, and safety standards
• Inspect pallet repairs to ensure they meet Customer quality standards
• Monitor grinder operations and enforce strict housekeeping standards
• Track production levels (trailers loaded/unloaded) and adjust staffing as needed
• Step in and assist the team directly—this is a hands-on leadership role

Qualifications

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) Required
• Prior pallet industry experience is a strong plus
• Proven supervisory or leadership experience required
• Sit-down forklift experience required
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, email systems)
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented with a strong work ethic

Working Conditions

• Active role requiring standing, walking, and equipment operation throughout the shift
• Ability to lift, move, and handle pallets as needed
