Job Title Registered Nurse Department: 34402 Atrium Health Cabarrus - Nursing Med Surg: IU 4GJ Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hours Per Week: 36 Schedule Details: FT Days Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30 Where You Will Work The Registered Nurse (RN) will be a valued teammate on a 44-bed medical‑surgical unit, also known as Internal Medicine. The RN will work closely with the nursing care team, which includes a healthcare technician and exercise physiologist, to provide patient‑centered care. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team enables coordination of comprehensive care plans, clear communication, and promotion of optimal recovery and patient well‑being. The unit offers a great learning environment for nurses at all experience levels and interests, fostering teamwork, communication, positivity, and quality care. Expectations Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association Responsibilities Play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. About This Location Atrium Health Cabarrus is a 457‑bed tertiary care facility serving Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, and surrounding counties. As a Level III Trauma Center, the hospital offers comprehensive emergency services and a wide range of specialty medical care.
