Job Description Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Required Qualifications / Skills / Experience: 2-5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field Previous customer service experience with strong phone communication skills Accurate data entry and typing skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Strong math, spelling, grammar, and written communication skills (testing may be required) Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment Demonstrated customer service skills and a commitment to resolving customer concerns Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers Remote (Local to Denver, CO) Preferred Qualifications / Skills / Experience: Experience in billing, payment reconciliation, or membership/account maintenance Experience with imaging or workflow systems Work Location: Fully remote - candidates must reside and work in Colorado (Mountain Time zone) No travel required Parking Information: Not applicable - this is a fully remote position Schedule: Start times vary, with an 8:00 AM start time expected The service center closes at 8:15 PM Interview Process: No interview required - offers are extended to qualified candidates without an interview Dress Code: Not applicable - this is a fully remote position Overview: We are hiring 20 Service Center Representatives to join a fully remote team supporting account maintenance, billing, payment reconciliation, and customer service operations. This is a 6-month assignment with the possibility of conversion to a permanent position. Candidates must reside and work in Colorado. Job Summary: The Service Center Representative supports account maintenance, billing, payment reconciliation, reporting, data entry, and customer service operations. Responsibilities may include maintaining databases, researching financial discrepancies, processing membership records, supporting billing activities, and managing documents within workflow and imaging systems. Job Responsibilities: Research, identify, and reconcile billing and payment discrepancies to ensure accurate eligibility, payment, revenue, and membership records Maintain member information, including enrollments, corrections, retroactive adjustments, and terminations Respond to eligibility inquiries and provide support related to membership and billing Ensure bills are accurate and mailed within established timelines Communicate with benefit administrators to explain health plan policies, contractual provisions, and membership or billing procedures Resolve payment discrepancies, delinquent accounts, and related customer issues Assist with membership accounting, sales support, and problem resolution Identify, code, batch, scan, and index documents in imaging systems Provide administrative and office support as needed, including filing, document retrieval, mail distribution, and supply management Work with internal and external customers and vendors to resolve service-related issues Monitor productivity and customer service quality metrics Participate in team projects and initiatives focused on improving customer service and operational efficiency Assist with training and facilitate communication across departments and lines of business Support performance evaluations and goal-setting activities as required Perform other duties as assigned Industry: Healthcare
