Maintenance TechnicianMaintenance Techs will be responsible for all upkeep and repair duties including identifying the need for repairs, responding to guests’ maintenance requests, and servicing company equipment.To be an effective Maintenance Tech, the candidate needs to be skilled, hard-working and have outstanding problem-solving abilities. Physical stamina and strong technical knowledge are important parts of the successful candidate’s talents.Benefits:Health InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife Insurance401(k)Free Associate ParkingFree Meal for every shift worked25% Discount in Resort OutletsHotel Discounts with OPLFriends and Family DiscountResponsibilities:Perform daily water testing and maintain proper chemical balance (chlorine, pH, alkalinity, etc.)Clean and maintain pools, spas, and hot tubs (vacuuming, skimming, brushing, and surface cleaning)Inspect and service pool and hot tub equipment including pumps, heaters, filters, and circulation systemsMonitor and adjust chemical levels for both pools and hot tubs as requiredIdentify and report maintenance issues or needed repairs promptlyMaintain accurate service and chemical logs in compliance with safety and health regulationsFollow all company, state, and local safety and sanitation standardsWhile walking throughout the property, make note of items in need of attentionRespond to guest room calls/maintenance calls in a timely mannerKeep all maintenance storage areas neat and cleanBe an active participant in inventory controlQualifications:Previous experience as a Pool Technician or similar role preferredKnowledge of pool and hot tub systems, pumps, and water chemistryAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditionsStrong attention to detail and reliabilityCPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification is a plusHigh School diploma or equivalent qualification requiredMinimum of 2 years working experience in a similar roleExtremely organized with good communication skillsDetailed oriented with an aptitude for problem-solvingMust be a team playerThe company also conducts post-offer employment verifications, motor vehicle, and criminal background checks.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
