Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

• Location: Ketchikan, Alaska
• Start Date: July 27, 2026
• Practice Setting: Critical Access Hospital
• Trauma Level: Adult Level IV
• Reason for Need: Coverage gap
• Hospital Beds: 25 (including 5 Labor & Delivery beds)
• Coverage: Inpatient and outpatient (same building)

• Assignment Begins: July 27, 2026
• Coverage Need: Ongoing coverage
• Call Support: Never completely solo-second OB/GYN physician available on call 24/7, along with Emergency Department and Hospitalist support

• Clinic Volume: Approximately 10 patients per day
• Labor & Delivery Volume: 0-2 patients per day
• Patient Population: Pediatrics, Adults, and Geriatrics

• Full-scope Obstetrics & Gynecology
• General OB/GYN care
• Rounding and admissions
• Inpatient and outpatient management
• Will assist with surgical cases as needed (no expectation for scheduled surgeries unless serving as first assist or additional surgeon)

• Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• BLS
• Epic EMR experience
• 24 months of case logs for credentialing

• Alaska medical license is not required at submission
• Provider must be willing and able to obtain an Alaska license promptly and respond quickly to all licensing requirements

• Comfortable practicing full-scope OB/GYN in a Critical Access Hospital with independent decision-making while supported by a second OB/GYN on call 24/7.
