Nurse Aide/Attendance Clerk - Ginther JobID: 1459 Position Type: Support Staff Date Posted: 6/2/2026 Location: Ginther School Closing Date: 07/19/2026 Hours Per Day: 7.00 (8:00 - 3:30) Work Year: 10 Months Per Year -- Off during school breaks. Minimum Pay Rate: $17.00 Per Hour (Effective in the 2026-2027 school year.) Classification: Labor Qualifications: There are no education qualifications required for this position. First aid knowledge and medical experience is preferred, not required. Strong clerical, record keeping, computer, and written and oral communication skills are required. Experience with Microsoft Office and Infinite Campus is desired. The ability to work independently and manage time effectively. The ability to work collaboratively with peers and colleagues. The ability to carry out oral and written instructions. Displays a positive attitude and builds healthy relationships with students, staff and families. Essential Functions: Must be comfortable assisting the school nurse in caring for children with injuries or illness. Must be able to maintain a calm, caring, and confidential environment, especially in times of crisis. Assist school nurse with paperwork required for health screenings. Assist school nurse with health record keeping and computer data entry. Responsible for daily attendance and follow up on excessive absences with office staff. Responsible for providing student attendance data for and participation on attendance committee. Ability to handle high volume of phone calls and daily activities in a busy office. The successful candidate will be a person who has good interpersonal skills and is flexible, creative, calm, and open to constructive feedback. Other duties as assigned by building administration.
