Commissioning Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Project Manager to lead commissioning activities across complex data center projects in the Richmond, VA area.
The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background and proven experience managing commissioning from planning and installation through testing, IST, and final handover.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage electrical commissioning activities across data center projects.
- Coordinate commissioning teams, electrical contractors, vendors, clients, and project stakeholders.
- Develop commissioning plans, schedules, test scripts, and project documentation.
- Oversee L1–L5 testing, functional performance testing, and integrated systems testing.
- Track progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure projects meet safety, quality, schedule, and client requirements.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of commissioning/project management experience.
- Strong electrical engineering, construction, or commissioning background
- Data center / mission-critical experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with LV/MV electrical systems, switchgear, UPS, generators, ATS, EPMS, and related infrastructure.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Must be based within approximately 50 miles of Richmond, VA or willing to commute/relocate. xhyhwjd
