QC Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven QC Manager to lead quality control initiatives and ensure products, processes, and operations consistently meet established standards. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining quality systems, overseeing inspection processes, managing quality personnel, and driving continuous improvement efforts. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, analytical capabilities, and a commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Position Responsibilities Quality Management Systems Develop, implement, and maintain quality control policies, procedures, and standards. Ensure compliance with internal quality requirements and applicable industry regulations. Monitor quality performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement. Inspection & Testing Oversight Manage incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities. Establish testing protocols and quality verification procedures. Ensure accurate documentation of inspections, audits, and quality findings. Continuous Improvement Lead root cause investigations and corrective action initiatives. Implement process improvements to reduce defects, improve consistency, and increase efficiency. Partner with operational teams to drive quality-focused improvements throughout the organization. Team Leadership & Development Recruit, train, mentor, and develop quality control personnel. Foster a culture of accountability, quality awareness, and continuous improvement. Conduct performance evaluations and support professional development initiatives. Compliance & Auditing Coordinate internal and external audits as required. Ensure adherence to quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory expectations. Maintain documentation and records supporting quality compliance. Supplier & Customer Quality Support Collaborate with suppliers to address quality concerns and improve performance. Respond to customer quality issues and coordinate corrective actions when necessary. Monitor supplier quality metrics and participate in supplier evaluations. Reporting & Data Analysis Analyze quality trends, defect rates, and performance indicators. Prepare reports and present findings to management. Utilize data to drive decision-making and quality improvements. Prerequisites Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, or related leadership roles. Strong understanding of quality management principles and inspection methodologies. Experience leading quality teams within manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environments. Knowledge of root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement processes. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality-related reporting systems. Certifications (Preferred, but not Required) Certified Quality Manager (CQM) Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification What the Role Offers Competitive base salary of up to $140,000, based on experience and qualifications.
