Transportation Dispatcher

Transportation Coordinator

Provides responsible and professional radio monitoring, dispatch communication and phone communication. Also provides support to supervisors and transportation staff. Exercises independent judgment in supporting district transportation routing programs and assistance in preparing district and State Department of Education (SDOE) reports, handling special projects and concerns, etc.

240-contract days per year, 8 hours per day, Exempt Level Position

Analyzes available resources against immediate requirements for drivers and/or buses within the fleet to meet ongoing demand for providing transportation services to students and schools. Assigns staff and makes adjustments to bus routes to ensure on-time bus

High School Diploma required. Associate's Degree in related field

CDL with P&S endorsements

Minimum of five years of responsible Transportation experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and
