Responsibilities As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you help patients get well by implementing occupational therapy programs and activities, following recovery plans, and delivering therapy treatments. You assess patients as individuals, restoring and enhancing physical abilities and independence, adapting to their needs, and collaborating with peers while ensuring high‑quality, compassionate care. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program per AOTA & ACOTE standards. Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.
