Pay Rate: $70–$75/hour
Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,800–$3,000/week

San Carlos Apache Healthcare Center is seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to join its collaborative pharmacy team serving the San Carlos Apache community. This role requires flexibility to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and ER/Inpatient coverage as needed . The pharmacist will accurately verify and dispense medications, process controlled substances in compliance with state and federal regulations, counsel patients, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and provide clinical pharmacy services while ensuring safe and timely medication management.

• Recent hospital inpatient pharmacy experience required

• ER/Inpatient pharmacist experience strongly preferred

• Must be flexible to work days, nights, swing shifts, weekends, and various pharmacy locations

• Strong medication therapy knowledge and clinical judgment

• Ability to accurately verify and process prescriptions in a timely manner

• Experience handling controlled substances according to policy and law

• Excellent patient counseling and communication skills

• Must be a reliable team player with a positive attitude and strong critical-thinking skills

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and/or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)

• Current unrestricted Pharmacist license ( Arizona license preferred )

• Basic Life Support (BLS)

• ACLS required for inpatient/ER coverage

• PALS required (may be completed on-site if needed)

• Pharmacy fills approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily

  • RPMS Electronic Health Record (transitioning to a new EHR)

  • Omnicell Automated Dispensing Cabinets

  • Carousel Medication Storage System

  • Kirby Lester Counting Machines

• Clinical services include:

  • Vaccine Clinic

  • Warfarin Clinic

  • Community outreach programs

  • Pharmacy student and technician preceptorships
