Scheduling Assistant The Scheduling Assistant is responsible for scheduling surgical cases for a busy medical group. Must provide professional customer service. Must be able to work in a faced-paced environment while gathering required insurance and patient demographic information. Must be able to use independent, sound judgment in a medical business office setting. Responsibilities Books, coordinates, and reschedules patient appointments as needed Updates and maintains daily schedules for field technicians Ensures that all cases are covered Maintains and updates current information on schedules ensuring that patients are scheduled properly Actively communicates with field personnel and management needed Qualifications High School degree At least 6 months experience in a general office environment Minimum 1 year work experience in customer service
