Come work in the neighborhood you love!The Human Resources Coordinator will report to the HR Manager at the Orangeburg, SC Distribution Center, and work closely with the supervisors and warehouse team.Responsibilities/QualificationsHuman Resources Coordinator key responsibilities include:Prepare, organize, plan, and steer the Safety Committee to engage workforce team members' participation and feedback in safety programs as well as monthly meetings.Participate in routine safety audits of departments to pinpoint unsafe working conditions; ensure that internal safety inspections are performed and fully address all safety program requirements.Complete daily inspections of the warehouse floor.Maintain tracking and provide weekly updates on work-related injuries and lost-time accidents as well as other regular safety reporting.Document and Track MHE Trainers and training for all team members.Develop/Chair Employee Engagement committee (meeting agenda, calendar of activities and track participation with photograph all activities).Monitor team member attendance point tracking, monitor attendance call in line and prepare corrective actions based on the points policy.Assist HR Manager in writing and publishing weekly reports.Support Recruiting and New Hire Orientation.Support tracking and issuing 30-60-90-day reviews to managers on weekly basis.Answer general human resources-related inquiries from staff, including but not limited to payroll, benefits, attendance and disciplinary status.Maintain office communication boards (safety, birthday, anniversary, general communication) in compliance with legal directives including start-up notes.Administrative office functions to include keeping HR filing current, copying, special project and other duties as assigned.Human Resources Coordinator requirements include:2+ years related payroll, benefits experienceExperience with timekeeping systems, preferredSelf-motivated, hands on, and flexibleProfessional verbal communication skills and customer service orientationAnalytical ability to summarize data and data entry skillsExcellent organizational and follow-up skills with attention to detail/accuracyAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, diverse environment while managing multiple tasksAbility to be a certified Train the Trainer for Material Handling EquipmentAbility to convey a positive and professional image while maintaining strict confidentiality.About CompanyPet Supplies Plus is focused on making it easier to get better products for your pet.
