Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Full-Time Position

Pro Elite Physical Therapy Clinic is looking for a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Vallejo, California. In this full-time role, you will provide essential services within our orthopedic outpatient rehabilitation center, working collaboratively with patients to enhance their mobility and overall quality of life.

Work Environment

This full-time position requires onsite presence at our Vallejo facility. Operating Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, our clinic offers a supportive and collaborative environment where physical therapists work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans. The clinic is designed to be welcoming and efficient, with modern treatment rooms and dedicated spaces for exercise and rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their goals, needs, and limitations in movement and function.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, providing focused and individualized treatment sessions.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that combine evidence-based practices and innovative therapeutic techniques.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques proficiently to reduce pain, improve mobility, and enhance functional capacity.
• Monitor and document patient progress, regularly updating care plans based on individual responses to treatment.
• Facilitate patient education on rehabilitation exercises and lifestyle changes to support recovery and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and occupational therapists, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, ensuring they adhere to prescribed exercises and therapies.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and adjust clinical approaches to continuously improve the coordination of care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all patient interactions and treatments using EMR software, particularly WebPT.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation. You will work with a diverse group of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and musculoskeletal injuries. Your role will be pivotal in helping these individuals regain their physical function, improve their strength, and enhance their quality of life through personalized therapy programs.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid state license as a Physical Therapist in California.
• An exemplary professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong skill set in manual therapy techniques and clinical reasoning.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing effective rehabilitation protocols tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record software, especially WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve positive patient outcomes through innovative therapy strategies.
• Experience utilizing evidence-based approaches to treatment planning and patient education.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package ranging from USD 150,000 to 180,000 annually, commensurate with experience and skill level. Additionally, our benefits package includes:
