Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery (L&D) in Lamar, Colorado. Travel assignment begins 09/14/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,756 to $2,860 with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to women in labor, during delivery, postpartum, and newborn care under the scope of practice
- Perform assessments, monitor labor progress, prepare for C-sections and inductions, and document nursing care
- Administer IV medications and adhere to infection control principles and OB department policies
- Deliver care during labor, post-delivery, and postpartum periods; support infant care and provide patient education
- Prepare the delivery room, offer emotional support, and coordinate transfers as needed
- Apply knowledge of obstetrics and equipment; maintain sterile technique and infection control; respond effectively in high-stress situations

Requirements
- Current Colorado RN license
- CPR certification (current)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Certification (NRC) and ACLS within one year of employment
- 4 years of obstetrics experience preferred
- Ability to work in a labor/delivery/postpartum setting; strong communication and teamwork skills
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, walk, and assist with lifting; exposure to blood and body fluids
- On-call availability; ability to rotate shifts as staffing requires
