Senior Accountant, Financial Analysis & Reconciliation

Job Overview General Ledger is responsible for reviewing all related financial statements for certain assigned divisions of the Casino and Resort. Job Responsibilities Review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations prepared by Staff Accountants, checking their work for accuracy and assisting them with questions and/or problems. Review the trial balance and related financial statements for assigned divisions of the Casino Resort. Prepare adjusting journal entries correcting incorrect accounting entries. Qualifications College degree in Accounting, Finance or a business‑related field. Two or more years of accounting experience preferred. Experience with fixed assets, prepaid account amortization schedules and various expense accruals such as payroll and accounts payable. Intermediate skills with 10‑key, MS Office, and G/L financial system applications; experience with PeopleSoft preferred. Ability to read, write and speak English professionally; professional appearance and demeanor required. Strong team player who can also work independently to complete assigned workload and tasks.
