Payroll Accountant

Calling all Payroll Professionals! Our client in the South King County area is seeking an experienced Payroll Accountant to join their team on a contract basis. If you enjoy payroll processing, reporting, compliance, and working in a collaborative accounting environment, we'd love to hear from you! Responsibilities include: Processing biweekly and monthly payroll Preparing payroll reports and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Assisting with payroll tax reporting and year-end W-2 preparation Preparing payroll-related journal entries and reconciliations Coordinating with HR regarding benefits, compensation, and employee payroll matters Supporting audits and special projects as needed This is an onsite opportunity working alongside a dedicated payroll team within a large accounting department. The manager is approachable, supportive, and encourages questions.
