Pinewood Nursing Center is seeking an exceptional Assistant Director of Rehab to join our team. As a key member of our therapy department, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing comprehensive rehabilitation programs for our residents. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional with a passion for providing exceptional patient care. Assistant Director of Rehab Responsibilities:
Assist the Director of Rehab in the development and implementation of rehabilitation programs for residents
Provide direct patient care and supervise a team of Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and Physical Therapy Technicians
Conduct assessments, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for residents
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff members
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment outcomes
Assistant Director of Rehab Requirements:
Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant Program or Physical Therapist Program
A valid Georgia license to practice as a PTA or PT
At least 2 years of experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting
Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of rehabilitation techniques
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
