About the Role
Our client, a well-established financial institution in the banking and mortgage industry, is seeking a Mortgage Support Specialist to provide administrative support to their Mortgage Disclosure and Adverse Action teams. This is a temporary opportunity created to support a leave of absence and is ideal for a detail-oriented individual looking to gain hands-on experience in mortgage operations.
This role offers exposure to the loan lifecycle and is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, task-driven environment and enjoys supporting critical behind-the-scenes processes. Job Description
The Mortgage Support Specialist will assist with preparing and processing loan files while ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines. This role involves working through a shared queue of files and completing time-sensitive administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare loan files for disclosure by validating required documentation
• Verify property addresses using USPS tools
• Obtain tax certificates and flood certifications
• Review and verify title fees for accuracy
• Perform data entry and updates within the Encompass loan system
• Package and prepare loan documents for delivery
• Support the Disclosure Desk and Adverse Action teams with daily administrative tasks
• Manage a queue of loan files, ensuring completion within established timelines (typically within 3 days)

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Reliable, professional, and able to maintain focus during work hours

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior administrative experience
• Exposure to mortgage, banking, or financial services environments
• Familiarity with loan processing systems such as Encompass
