AP Consultant

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in NYC that is seeking an AP Consultant.Responsibilities:

• Process and enter invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Execute electronic payments, including ACH and wire transfers
• Reconcile and code credit card transactions
• Manage vendor payments, including ad hoc and miscellaneous requests
• Monitor and respond to AP inbox communications and vendor inquiries
• Process a high volume of weekly payments
• Generate reports and support basic financial data analysis
• Assist with accounts payable activities across multiple entities
• Provide support for journal entries and general ledger-related tasks

Skills

• Experience in accounts payable or general accounting
• Basic understanding of debits and credits
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently
• Professional demeanor and reliable work ethic

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a multi-entity or multi-currency environment
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite or similar tools)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
