Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Installation: Installing new HVAC systems and equipment, following blueprints and specifications.
- Customer Interaction: Communicating with customers, explaining issues, and providing system maintenance guidance.
- Preventative Maintenance: Scheduling and performing maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance.
- Emergency Repairs: Responding to and completing emergency repairs as needed.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of work performed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhering to industry codes and safety regulations.
- Troubleshooting and Diagnosis: Identifying the root cause of malfunctions in HVAC systems.
- Repairs and Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance, cleaning, adjusting, and repairing HVAC systems.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of HVAC systems, including furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioning units, and ventilation systems.
- Diagnostic Skills: Ability to identify and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems in HVAC systems.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in HVAC systems.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with customers, explaining technical issues in a clear and concise manner.
- Customer Service Skills: Providing exceptional customer service and building rapport with clients.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, climb, and work in various conditions.
- Safety Awareness: Understanding and adhering to safety regulations and procedures.
