Assists in the preparation and conduct of Quality Assurance (QA) testing of new or modified applications/systems across multiple computing environments (e.g., host based, distributed systems, client server). Provides help desk support to client and IT technical staff in resolving QA process or procedure related questions and required documentation. Assists in the implementation of QA software and systems and the development of effective testing plans through consultation with clients and IT technical staff. Participates in the development of special testing requirements and procedures and in the review of new or modified QA software. May participate in the analysis and development of new or revised QA procedures and processes. May implement modifications to QA software. Completes day-to-day Quality Assurance & Testing tasks without immediate supervision but has ready access to advice from more experienced team members. Tasks involve a degree of forward planning and anticipation of needs/issues. Resolves non-routine issues escalated from more junior team members. These tasks are happening in the PRODUCTION environment. Effectively communicates to individuals at all levels of the technical and business communities. Continuous focus on quality and innovations. Skills and Experience Required 5+ years of strong experience in ETL/BI/DW solution testing that involved Hive, Ab-Initio, Teradata and Unix. 3+ years strong SQL experience that involves writing and understanding complex queries. Experience and continuous testing mindset in CI/CD environment. Experience in Test management tools. Experience working with RESTful API services testing. Experience using tools like Jira, Confluence. Exposure to AWS Cloud technologies is desired. Proficient working in agile methodology.
