About the Position

Travel RN – CVOR | California

We are currently seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in California.

Assignment Details:

• Shift: Days
• Shift Length: 10 Hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week
• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Start Date: 06/23/2026
• Call requirement included

Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR experience required
• Must have strong CVOR scrub experience
• First-time travelers accepted
• Active RN License required at submission
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Two supervisor references required at submission (charge nurse accepted)
• Must be comfortable in a fast-paced surgical environment

Unit Details:

• Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
• 4 operating suites
• Average 4–6 surgeries per day
• Cases include CABG, valve procedures, and other heart surgeries
• No thoracic cases
• Cerner charting system
• Travelers must be able to read and interpret EKG strips

Additional Information:

• Holiday rotation with core staff
• Orientation includes 1–2 days with a preceptor in the OR
• Strong critical thinking and independent CVOR skills required
