What We're Looking For | S upply Chain Manager Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of progressive supply chain management experience. Experience in OEM or manufacturing environments preferred. Proven experience leading supply chain or materials teams. Strong ERP/MRP system knowledge and data-driven decision-making skills. Strong negotiation skills with suppliers and vendors. Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills. Ability to manage KPIs, forecasting, and inventory optimization strategies. Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Supply Chain certification (APICS/ASCM or similar) preferred. Commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. What You'll Be Doing Day-to-Day | Supply Chain Manager Job Duties Lead end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, planning, logistics, and inventory control. Translate customer demand and delivery requirements into effective production and materials planning strategies. Manage ERP/MRP systems for inventory accuracy, scheduling, and materials management. Develop and execute inventory strategies including safety stock, EOQ, and MOQ planning. Negotiate supplier contracts, pricing, and lead times to improve cost and service performance. Oversee purchasing, shipping, receiving, and planning teams (6+ direct reports). Monitor and reduce excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory. Analyze supply chain KPIs including on-time delivery, cost savings, and efficiency metrics. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across sourcing, logistics, and warehouse operations. Collaborate with sales, engineering, production, and customer service teams. Evaluate supplier performance and resolve delivery or quality issues.
