Registered Nurse - Med/Surg

Location: Carthage, TN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift: 19:00 - 07:00, rotating weekends.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg team. The ideal candidate will provide quality patient care for a diverse population, including adults and geriatrics, with occasional pediatric cases. You will be responsible for managing a range of conditions and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and support for a variety of medical conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist with medical procedures and patient education as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience.
• Current RN license in the state of Tennessee.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Experience with IV therapy, Foley catheters, and pain management preferred.
